You scored as Gytha (Nanny) Ogg. You are Nanny Ogg! A talented witch, able to make yourself at home wherever you are, and insist that Greebo is just a big softie. You enjoy drinking, a lot, and singing about a hedgehog. You have a huge family, and get your daughters-in-law to do most of the housework. You are kind and gentle, and help put people at ease.

i'm so anxious right now! i was gonna call my parents right after i got back from work (8:30pm), but nobody answered the phone and at my sister's place the line is busy. i hope my gran is okay- my parents not being at home might be a bad sign :/ i just told my mum this morning i'd call after work about the outcome of the ct...

when we went to see gran at hospital on sunday noon she was in a very bad shape. i knew that she had problems with her toes, but her feet are actually crippled and her legs are huge with water in the tissue. she has bruises all over from the fall she took on wednesday and her breathing was the worst. she couldn't get two words out and she made scary noises like she was suffocating :(

and after the shock of all that i had to face the kids' parents at school. it was unbelievable how RUDE people can be! the boss showed us teachers into the room where the parents (only about twenty people) were waiting and he introduced us to them- in TURKISH. then he worked out which teacher taught whose kids- in TURKISH. then the parents would come up to you and talk to you about their kids- in TURKISH. they actually expected me to understand turkish!!! where are we? istanbul??? most of them were BORN in germany and have german citizenship! well, at least one of the mothers of my major troublemakers in 6th grade showed up. i told her (through an interpreter) that i have huge problems with her son as he is disrespectful, rude, mean and has no discipline whatsoever. and what did she say? maybe that was coz i was so young a teacher... excuse me?! respect is for everyone!!! i told her to talk to her son and if she could not change his attitude then get him out of that school.

anyways, need to try and reach my parents again... or get drunk. deary me- and running into my ex-bf's neighbour's bf didn't help either. i pretended i didn't see him as i don't know whether he knows about the split up. he might tell my ex about my new hairdo which kinda would blow my cover *darn*

this is a BAD year! my gran has cancer- again. she is in hospital, coz my uncle wanted a long-term ekg done to find out why she's so sickly and they found out that the breastcancer she had had years back metastased into her lungs :( the x-ray showed several lumps. we will only get to konw more on monday when they do a ct...

i'm at my parents' now. we are gonna go visit gran tomorrowe morning and on the way home they'll drop me off at the school. one more reason to tell the boss i can't stay for very long!

My animal spirit is...
The Moose

According to shamanistic wisdom, moose people are very LOUD, confident and efficient. Like the moose, whose call you hear way before you even see it, moose people tend to be impossible to miss when they walk into a room...Read more...

this morning i went downtown to get the ingredients for ilwen's vegan cookies. my siz and i are gonna bake some on sunday. then i actually started wrapping xmas presents before i had to leave for school. and school was just SO tiring today-the 6th graders were a mess. unfortunately none of the troublemakers' parents are gonna be there on sunday- go figure! anyways, patrick came to fetch birte and me at 7pm and we went to the christmas market to join my siz and winit for some spiced wine, fries and roasted almonds. after that we had a banana split shake at burger king and i watched yesterday's "grey's anatomy" episode.

tomorrow afternoon my father is coming over to get some final repairs done in my flat. i also need to give my siz all my tax papers for sandra's father to look over. working two jobs, soon maybe three, is just beyond me tax-wise, so i'm glad to get a tax accountant's help for free...

oh and here is a movie you HAVE to check out: http://300themovie.warnerbros.com/
